Face, Eyes & Brow Surgery

A  facelift repositions the tissues of the face and neck to restore the contours and appearance of a more youthful or fresher face. Many areas of the face are improved: sagging, loose tissues of the mid-face, deep folds of loose skin at the sides of the nose and mouth, jowls or loss of definition of the jawline, and excess fat or loose skin causing loose definition of the neck area.

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty creates an open, larger, brighter appearing eye. In women, excess loose tissue prevents optimal use of makeup and obscures the normal contours of the eyelid. In both men and women, loose, sagging, bulging tissues make the eye appear smaller and more tired or stressed. The effect is accomplished by the removal of excess loose skin and fatty tissue through very fine incisions.

The forehead and brow tissues often affect the appearance of the eyes. If your brow tissues sag downward and are too close to your eyes, you can appear very stern or tired. This appearance is accentuated when frown wrinkles appear between the eyes and across the forehead. A brow lift can often create a more pleasing shape and arch to the brow. By lifting the brow upward, your eyes will appear larger and more open with a fresher, more energetic look.

Dr. Forley will discuss your areas of concern during your consultation and demonstrate the degree of correction you can expect in each area. In many cases, these procedures can be performed with limited incisions. He will explain the natural results that can be achieved with modern plastic surgery techniques.
